In 1976, Valleyfair premiered as a turn-of-the-century amusement park in Shakopee, Minnesota with 20 rides and attractions on 26 acres. Today, the park boasts more than 75 rides and attractions on 90 acres and is the largest amusement park in the upper Midwest.
