As you travel through each land, you'll watch fantasy become reality. From swashbuckling pirate encounters and silly moments with monsters to thrilling parades and spellbinding fireworks shows, dreams come to life at Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom was the first park built at the Walt Disney World Resort. It opened on the 1st October 1971 and was designed and built by WED Enterprises, the park's layout and attractions are similar to Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

With the largest expansion in the history of the Magic Kingdom park, Fantasyland will nearly double in size! The initial phases of New Fantasyland are now open - with spectacular additions scheduled through 2014.

The park attracts an estimated 17 million visitors each year, making it the most visited theme park in the world.
