Alabama Adventure announced the addition of “BuzzSaw Falls”, a family water thrill ride in the theme park. The major expansion is sure to keep guests both cool and thrilled, as riders plunge down a five story, heart pounding chute for a massive splash. Enormous sheets of water will shoot in the air as riders make their final descent splashing into a pool of water soaking both riders and on lookers.
In preparation of the new ride, Alabama Adventure offered a chance to the community to “Name the Ride” (Read More). An anonymous winner submitted “BuzzSaw Falls”. Alabama Adventure is donating the grand prize package to Ronald McDonald House Charities. The grand prize package contains four 2011 Season Passes, a rentals season pass, a parking season pass and a chance for three to four families staying in the Birmingham Ronald McDonald House to be among the first to ride the new BuzzSaw Falls. “Alabama Adventure is absolutely thrilled about the addition of ‘BuzzSaw Falls’. We are looking to a great season in 2011 with plenty of fun and thrills for the whole family, including our Concert Series, theme park and water park,” says General Manager, EJ Randolph.
