Wild Adventures Theme Park officially kicks off its milestone 30th anniversary season on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
To mark three decades in South Georgia, the park is unveiling a comprehensive glow-up that balances new attractions with significant reliability upgrades to fan-favorite rides.
The Completion of Water’s Edge
The 2026 season marks the full completion of Water’s Edge, a newly themed area designed for family-focused fun.
While portions of the land were previewed previously, the area is now complete with:
- Two New Rides: Boat Parade and Wing Swinger.
- The Horizon Wheel: The park’s iconic Ferris Wheel has moved to its new permanent home within the land.
- New Flavors: Two new eateries - Water’s Edge Tacos and Lakeside Refreshments - are now open to fuel guests.
Improving the Classics: Boomerang & Island Falls
In a move that will please frequent visitors, Wild Adventures has invested heavily in ride maintenance and efficiency during the off-season:
- Boomerang: The signature roller coaster features an all-new control system and magnetic brakes designed to provide a smoother ride and reduce unexpected downtime.
- Island Falls: After being closed for the entire 2025 season, this popular water ride returns with new boats and improved dispatch times.
- Safari Train: A second locomotive has been added to the tracks, which the park says will significantly reduce wait times for the animal-viewing excursion.
Expanded Animal Habitats and Private Encounters
The park’s wildlife offerings are also growing. The Spider Monkeys have moved into a new habitat in Oasis Outpost that is triple the size of their previous home. Additionally, a large section of the Alapaha Trail swamp walk has been refurbished and reopened for the first time in over a decade.
For guests looking for a more personal experience, the park is introducing three new paid private encounters with Two-Toed Sloths, Giraffes, and Tamanduas.
30th Anniversary Flash Sale
To celebrate the anniversary, Wild Adventures is offering a significant discount for early-season visitors. Single-day tickets are currently available online for just $30. Season Passes are also being offered on a payment plan for as low as $14.80 per month (for 10 months), which includes general admission to the Wild Adventures LIVE! concert series featuring acts like The Beach Boys and ZZ Top.
