Universal Studios has revealed that Netflix's global phenomenon Stranger Things will return to Halloween Horror Nights this autumn, bringing the epic fifth and final season of the series to life.

All-new haunted houses are set to debut at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, plunging all guests straight into the ultimate battle for survival.

Developed in close partnership with Netflix, the new houses will place visitors right at the centre of the action as the barrier between reality and the supernatural collapses, unleashing an ominous darkness over the town of Hawkins.

Guests will journey through iconic locations from the final season, including the Wheeler House, Hawkins National Laboratory, and the MAC-Z military base. The harrowing adventure will also transport fans into the haunting realms of the Upside Down and the Abyss. Along the way, visitors will be hunted by terrifying Demogorgons and a host of other supernatural creatures, culminating in a face-to-face confrontation with the sinister Vecna.

The premier Halloween event is scheduled to kick off on Friday, 28 August at Universal Orlando Resort and on Thursday, 3 September at Universal Studios Hollywood. Both events will run on select nights through to Sunday, 1 November 2026.

In addition to the haunted houses, fans can already get their hands on a new limited-release merchandise collection inspired by the attraction. The exclusive line features an 80s-nostalgia T-shirt and mug, alongside a new Stranger Things acrylic figure designed to fit into the separately sold Infernal Carnival collectible display. These items are available at the theme parks and online via the official Universal shop, with more merchandise items expected to debut in the coming months.

Event tickets for both coasts are on sale now, with further ticket options for Universal Orlando Resort expected to be released soon.
