The volume is cranking up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as Disney has confirmed that the reimagined Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will make its grand debut on May 26, 2026.
The legendary indoor coaster has traded its classic rock roots for a "rock-charged remix" featuring Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem. Guests will find themselves caught in the middle of a high-speed dash to get the band to their biggest concert yet, assuming they can find the band first!
A New Look for a Hollywood Icon
The transformation begins before you even enter the building. The attraction’s famous 40-foot guitar marquee is getting a psychedelic makeover. Inspired by the band’s iconic tour bus, the ruby-red guitar now features vibrant patterns and a golden piano key at the base, a subtle tribute to the band's leader, Dr. Teeth.
New Management at G-Force Records
The lore of the attraction has been updated with a clever Muppet twist. The legendary G-Force Records has officially come under new management. In a nod to deep Muppet history, the studio was acquired with help from J.P. Grosse, Scooter’s uncle and the "G" in G-Force.
Inside the queue, fans should keep their eyes peeled for a massive lineup of celebrity cameos. Posters and digital displays throughout the studio and gift shop will feature stars including:
- Music Legends: Travis Barker, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and Darren Criss.
- Hollywood Favorites: John Stamos, Danny Trejo, Awkwafina, and Neil Patrick Harris.
- Comedy Icons: Yvette Nicole Brown and Wayne Brady.
Technological Upgrades and Audio-Animatronics
For the first time in the attraction's history, the pre-show will feature an Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter. He will be joined by a crew of penguin audio engineers in Studio C, desperately trying to keep the rehearsal on track.
To get to the show on time, guests will board a Lengthy Immediate Motion Object (L.I.M.O.), a super-powered vehicle developed using the latest (and likely chaotic) technology from Muppet Labs.
The Set List: Five High-Octane Tracks
Music remains the heartbeat of the experience. Disney has revealed five distinct tracks that will blast through the 120-speaker limo audio systems. The soundtrack features The Electric Mayhem collaborating with various music legends:
- "Song 2" – Performed by The Electric Mayhem.
- "Born To Be Wild" – The Electric Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken.
- "Love Rollercoaster" – The Electric Mayhem featuring Jennifer Hudson and Questlove.
- "Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)" – The Electric Mayhem featuring Def Leppard.
- "Walking on Sunshine" – The Electric Mayhem featuring Kelly Clarkson.
Note: Disney also teased "bonus tracks" that may be added to the rotation in the future, ensuring every ride feels like a different night on the tour.
Opening Details & Previews
While the general public can board the L.I.M.O. starting May 26, Disney has confirmed that special preview windows will be available for Cast Members, Annual Passholders, and eligible Disney Vacation Club Members.
