Universal Studios has announced the latest addition to its 2026 Halloween Horror Nights lineup: a brand-new haunted house based on New Line Cinema’s Evil Dead Burn, the sixth installment in the iconic horror franchise.
The terrifying new attraction will feature at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood this autumn, bringing guests face-to-face with the relentless, supernatural deadites that have terrified film audiences for decades.
A Journey into Infernal Terror
First introduced in 1981, the Evil Dead series is famed for blending extreme gore with dark humour. The franchise centers around the Book of the Dead, an ancient text capable of unleashing parasitic demons that possess human victims and transform them into monstrous Deadites.
Inspired by the newest film, the Evil Dead Burn haunted house takes visitors on a firsthand descent into horror. The nightmare begins at the Price family's secluded holiday home in the woods. As guests make their way through the intricate, horrifying maze, the intensity escalates with ferocious Deadite encounters around every corner, pushing visitors closer to succumbing to the evil forces themselves.
Event Dates and Ticket Information
Halloween Horror Nights runs on select nights across both US resorts:
- Universal Orlando Resort: Friday, 28 August through Sunday, 1 November 2026.
- Universal Studios Hollywood: Thursday, 3 September through Sunday, 1 November 2026.
All ticket types and vacation packages are now officially on sale for both destinations.
For guests looking to visit multiple times throughout the season, multi-night pass options have returned. Universal Orlando Resort has launched its range of Frequent Fear Passes, including the Rush of Fear, Frequent Fear, Frequent Fear Plus, and Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass. Orlando visitors can also purchase the Scream Early add-on, allowing entry to Universal Studios Florida from 2:00 pm and early access to select haunted houses before the event opens to the general public. Annual and Seasonal Passholders can take advantage of exclusive discounts on select single-night tickets in August and September.
At Universal Studios Hollywood, ticket options include General Admission, Universal Express, the premium R.I.P. Tour, Day/Night tickets, and Early Access Tickets providing house entry from 5:30 pm. West Coast horror fans can also secure Frequent Fear and Ultimate Fear Passes for repeated visits.
Limited-Edition Merchandise
To mark the announcement, Universal has rolled out an initial collection of Evil Dead Burn merchandise. Fans can pick up exclusive T-shirts, hats, and an acrylic figure designed for the infernal carnival collectible display. The items are available inside the theme parks and online via shopUniversal.com, with further merchandise releases scheduled for later in the year.
