Universal Destinations & Experiences has unveiled the complete slate of attractions, entertainment, dining, retail, and hotel offerings coming to Universal Kids Resort.

The company’s first-ever theme park created specifically for families with young children—opening in Frisco, Texas, in 2026—will bring seven fully themed lands to life in one colorful, kid-focused destination.

Designed from the ground up with young guests in mind, Universal Kids Resort will blend Universal-quality storytelling with playful environments, age-appropriate attractions, and sensory-friendly spaces tailored to children and their caregivers.

A Resort Built for Young Families

Universal Kids Resort isn’t just a theme park — it’s a family-centered destination. Its 300-room on-site hotel serves as both a colorful welcome gateway and such a convenient place to stay, that's designed to make multi-day visits as easy and relaxing as possible.

“When creating Universal Kids Resort, we leaned into that childlike curiosity and invited play to be our guide,” said Molly Murphy, President of Universal Creative. “Every detail has been designed through a child’s eyes so the result is a park that celebrates the joy of being a kid — where imagination isn’t just encouraged, it’s embedded in every attraction, space, and experience.”
