Check out our Top 5 Theme Park Christmas Events this festive season.
1. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party - Held in on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom this event is full of your favourite characters, entertainment, fireworks and a parade through the park. Held throughout November & December from 7pm - 12pm (on selected dates) the event is for ticket holders only and is a classic example of Disney magic at its best. Main features of the event are the enchanted Castle Dream Lights, Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, Holiday Wishes fireworks extravaganza plus meet and greet from your favourite Disney characters!
Tickets may be purchased at any Guest Relations window at Disney World Resort, park ticket windows, and online. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.
2. Seaworld Orlando Show - A vast array of shows are available this Christmas at Seaworld including the Shamu Christmas display, A Sesame Street Christmas, Winter Wonderland on Ice, Fireworks and more. All of the shows are packed full of fun, spectacular acrobatics and lots to do for all the family. Check details on the day for specific show times & further details.
3. Busch Gardens Christmas Town - Great shows from Deck the Halls, Miracles, Rejoice and A Sesame Street Christmas plus great attractions and shopping to celebrate with your family. Located in Italy Village, Christmas Town is open from November 26th. You can relax 80 feet in the air aboard a high-flying gondola, buy pre-wrapped gifts for stocking fillers and get in the Christmas spirit at Christmas Town. Busch Gardens is extending its Christmas Town operation through New Year’s Eve. Christmas Town is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 3 – 10 p.m. Open every day except Christmas Day from Dec. 17 through Dec. 31.
4. Six Flags Christmas Celebrations - Each Six Flags park holds Christmas events and they have selected a few across the US.
Vallejo - Christmas tree & decorations across the park topped off with a dusting of snow. There’s loads going on from killer whales displays, sea lions, dolphins, and Looney Tunes characters too.
San Antonio - In addition to its lineup of roller coasters and thrill rides, Six Flags is offering live entertainment and lots of holiday decorations for the seasonal event. Bugs Bunny and his Looney Tune pals will be decked out in their holiday finery, carolers will roam the streets, and Santa and the Mrs. will be on hand for photos.
Over Texas - Santaland, frosty snow hill, food & entertainment are just a snippett of what’s available at Six Flags over Texas. There’s shopping for all the family plus the thrill rides & attractions, however some areas of the park are closed and you are advised to check all details before attending.
5. Legoland California, Holly Jolly Christmas - Holiday festivities include a life-sized LEGO® brick Santa and Reindeer, miniature Santas and reindeer delivering toys throughout Miniland USA and "Let it Snow" the musical. Available every night from December 26 to the 31, they will be lighting up the sky with nightly fireworks at closing time.
