SeaWorld Orlando has unveiled its lineup for the summer 2026 season, headlined by the return of the Electric Ocean event starting 12 June.
The premier nighttime celebration will feature a significantly expanded programme, including new animal presentations, a pulse-pounding cirque show, and a fresh drone spectacular.
According to Jon Peterson, the President of SeaWorld Orlando, this year’s event is designed to transform the park after dark, offering guests powerful animal connections during the day followed by an electrifying schedule of evening entertainment.
Nighttime Animal Presentations
Beginning 12 June, the park will debut three distinct nighttime animal shows that combine education with high-energy entertainment:
- Shamu Celebration: Light Up The Night: A festival-style show featuring vibrant lighting and original music that celebrates the beauty of killer whales.
- Sea Lions Tonite: A comedic presentation featuring the park's sea lions in a fast-paced show filled with new surprises.
- Dolphins: Touch The Sky: An energetic presentation focused on the connection between humans and bottlenose dolphins, set to an inspiring soundtrack.
New Spectaculars And Live Entertainment
New for the 2026 season is a drone spectacle featuring hundreds of synchronized drones. The display will create luminous, ocean-inspired scenes in the sky, including rolling waves and sea creatures, set to the track "Feeling Electric". This leads directly into the return of Ignite, a 360-degree fireworks finale that incorporates fountains and specialized lighting around the park's central lake.
Guests can also visit the Nautilus Theater for Hydro Surge, a cirque-style spectacular featuring acrobats, dancers, and a live drummer. For those looking to dance, the family-friendly Club SeaGlow at Bayside Stadium will host DJs and atmospheric acts throughout the evening.
Additional Summer Developments
Beyond the evening festivities, SeaWorld Orlando is preparing for the summer launch of Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice. This new attraction invites guests on a scientific mission to explore extreme environments.
The park has also teased the upcoming debut of another brand-new animal presentation, with further details expected to be released in the coming weeks.
Access to Electric Ocean is included with all standard park admissions. For regular visitors, the resort recommends its Annual Pass, which provides unlimited visits and free parking throughout the summer season.
