LEGOLAND California Resort and LEGOLAND Florida Resort are taking their newest family coasters to thrilling new heights, just in time for the annual Brick or Treat celebrations. The Galacticoaster in the brand new LEGO Galaxy lands will receive a custom Halloween makeover.

Available throughout fall, the Halloween Spaceship update transforms the Galacticoaster experience at both parks. Families will discover 356 new Halloween-themed LEGO elements in the design bays, offering a fresh and spooky twist on the high-speed attraction.

The Galacticoaster allows guests to work in teams of four to digitally design their own spacecraft at the Customisation Bays. Riders select unique LEGO elements for the nose, tail, wings and special features, like a disco ball or balloons. This fall, these customisation options get a special upgrade, resulting in hundreds of seasonal combinations before guests soar off on their flight through LEGO Galaxy.

New vehicle features include:

• A Monster Fighters inspired design: Borrowing from the classic LEGO Monster Fighters theme, the spacecraft features a galactic colour scheme and a hidden, ghostly "BOO!" on the back.
• A classic roadster front end: The nose of the ship resembles a classic roadster with an exposed engine. It includes six bone elements, which is a nod to the 2012 LEGO Lord Vampyre's Hearse set.
• A mischievous hood ornament: Taking centre stage on the vehicle is a Jack-O-Lantern. First introduced as the Headless Horseman's head in the 2015 LEGO Scooby-Doo line, this classic piece completes the festive look.

The resorts have confirmed that these custom Halloween overlays are scheduled to make a return in future years.

Brick or Treat Events Expand on Both Coasts

The Galacticoaster update is just one part of the wider Brick or Treat events happening at both locations. Transforming the parks into family-friendly mischief towns, the celebrations are included with general admission on select event dates and feature a host of activities designed specifically for younger guests.

New additions for 2026 in both California and Florida include Brick or Treat Street, an interactive trail featuring six life-sized LEGO Monster homes filled with surprises and treats. Families can explore homes inspired by fan favorite characters like the Plant Monster, Spider Lady, Mummy, Wacky Witch and Wolf Guy.

Each resort also offers its own unique seasonal entertainment:

• LEGOLAND California features a terrifying makeover of the iconic Dragon rollercoaster, challenging riders to brave a castle taken over by glowing ghosts, toxic spiders and radioactive bats. Guests can also visit the Prehistoric Pumpkin Patch in Dino Valley and marvel at the spectacular 17 foot tall LEGO Halloween Tree, which is constructed from more than 680,000 bricks.
• LEGOLAND Florida debuts the Potion Mischief Light Trail, a new illuminated nighttime walkthrough experience. As evening falls, the Florida park also hosts the Monster Skytacular, a unique drone show that fills the night sky with hundreds of synchronised drones creating LEGO Monster inspired animations.

Families looking to extend the fun can book an overnight stay at either resort. LEGOLAND California offers the LEGOLAND Hotel and LEGOLAND Castle Hotel, featuring exclusive evening entertainment and their nightly Brick Boogie dance parties. Meanwhile, at LEGOLAND Florida guests can choose from the LEGOLAND Hotel, Pirate Island Hotel or the beach bungalow accommodations at LEGOLAND Beach Retreat.

Brick or Treat runs on select dates from 19 September to 1 November 2026 at LEGOLAND California, and from 5 September to 31 October 2026 at LEGOLAND Florida.
