Walt Disney World Resort has revealed the dates and initial details for the 2026 season of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the popular separately-ticketed event that brings a festive, eerie atmosphere to the park on select nights.

As the sun sets over Cinderella Castle later this year, Magic Kingdom will once again transform into a playground for ghouls and goblins of all ages.

Running from 7 August through 31 October, the 2026 event promises a blend of beloved traditions and brand-new surprises designed for the whole family.

New for 2026: Stitch’s Galactic Dance Party

The biggest addition to this year’s line-up is a new interactive experience in Tomorrowland. Stitch will be hosting an ever-changing dance party at the Rockettower Plaza Stage, joined by his friends Lilo and Angel.

Drawing from Lilo’s costume trunk, Stitch will frequently swap accessories throughout the night. Each new item triggers a "theme swap" for the party, ensuring the music and atmosphere remain playfully unpredictable for guests hitting the dance floor.

Event Dates and Ticket Information

Tickets for the event vary in price depending on the date selected. Sales will begin in two phases:

  • 5 May: Early access for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green.
  • 12 May: General sales open to all other guests.

As these parties frequently sell out, particularly dates closer to Halloween, early booking is highly recommended. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members are eligible for ticket discounts.

2026 Party Dates

  • August: 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30

Returning Frightful Favourites

Fans of the event's classic entertainment will be pleased to know that the cornerstone shows and programmes are returning for the 2026 season:

  • Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade: Featuring the Headless Horseman, waltzing ghosts, and Disney Villains. This year, the first parade will start at 8:15 PM to accommodate families with younger children.
  • Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular: A nightly fireworks display hosted by Jack Skellington, featuring state-of-the-art projections that turn Cinderella Castle into a haunted house.
  • Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular: The Sanderson Sisters return to the castle stage, joined by a host of nefarious Disney Villains to cast a spell over the audience.
  • The Cadaver Dans: The fan-favourite undead barbershop quartet will be performing their soulful, spooky harmonies throughout the night.

Trick-or-Treating and Characters

Trick-or-treating remains a central part of the experience, with over a dozen locations throughout the park. This year, Disney has teased that "fiendish faces" may surprise guests along the treat trails as they collect handfuls of confectionery. Adults are welcome to join in the fun, and complimentary treat bags are provided for everyone.

Exclusive character meet-and-greets will also return, including:

  • Jack Skellington and Sally at Town Square Theater.
  • Mickey and Minnie in their special Halloween attire.
  • Winnie the Pooh in his bumblebee costume.
  • Royal Couples including Ariel and Eric, and Aladdin and Jasmine.

Seasonal Overlays and Merch

Several attractions will receive their signature Halloween "grim overlays," involving special lighting and soundtracks to match the mood of the evening. Additionally, exclusive 2026 event merchandise and a dedicated "Foodie Guide" featuring savoury snacks and sweet treats will be released closer to the start of the season.

Guests are encouraged to follow official costume guidelines and prepare for a night where the spooky meets the spectacular in the heart of Florida.
