Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
Embark on a thrilling expedition through the icy peaks of the Himalayas. Venture inside a Tibetan-style stone structure at the foot of towering Mt. Wander past a small temple and a cozy general store before exploring a museum dedicated to the study of the Yeti, the mysterious snow monster said to inhabit the Himalayas. Board a weather-beaten train and ascend a series of rolling hills overlooking a serene green forest. Climb a steep incline and navigate through a ceremonial stone tunnel before reaching the summit. Once at the “top of the world,” hold on tight as you pick up speed and race inside the dreaded mountain. Without warning, your train screeches to a halt: A broken and twisted track appears in front of you. Brace yourself as your train unpredictably begins to race backward into the darkened mountain, furiously swooping up into a double-looping turn. Inside the windswept passage, the shadowy figure of a growling creature can be seen on a cavern wall. It is the Yeti—the legend is real. Hurl 80 feet down the base of the cursed mountain and swoop in and out of murky caves and along jagged rocky ledges as you race to escape the dreaded monster before he catches up with you.
Kali River Rapids
A rip-roaring, river raft ride that takes you on a tour through a lush jungle landscape ravaged by illegal logging. Hang on tight for a thrilling whitewater adventure along the scenic Chakranadi River. Meander along a winding path brimming with solemn stone ruins before venturing inside a centuries-old temple, home to animal shrines and hand-painted murals. Continue on through a small shop selling hand-crafted wares and then enter the boathouse of Kali Rapids Expeditions, your tour company for the day’s journey. Make your way to a wooden pagoda and then onto a large, circular 12-passenger raft. Strap yourself in and gently glide up a 90-foot knoll into a mist, the native scents of jasmine and ginger filling the air. At the top, skim across an erupting geyser and brace yourself as you begin your descent down the mountain. During your voyage, bob up and down and gently spin, water splashing in all directions. Sail beneath a canopy of lush vegetation as your raft weaves back and forth in the fast-moving river. Graze gushing waterfalls and bump craggy mountain bedrock amid the raging current. Then, plummet down a dramatic 20-foot slope!
