Blaze a trail towards Grizzly Peak for an outdoor adventure surrounded by majestic evergreen trees, roaring rapids and rugged mountains. Take a thrilling, spinning plunge on Grizzly River Run or explore wilderness paths, march across rope bridges, climb over rocks and zip down suspended slides at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

Grizzly River Run
A thrilling whitewater raft adventure that takes you roaring down a California river in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Buckle up for an exciting free-floating river ride up, down and through Grizzly Peak. The Grizzly River Rafting Company has converted a former mining operation into a one-stop destination for thrill-seeking rafters—and you’re invited to join in the excitement. Hop inside a circular 8-person raft and drift along a lazy river, passing the rusty remnants of an old mining company. Rumble along a 275-foot-long conveyor belt as you begin your gradual ascent up the mountain, taking in scenic views of the surrounding area. At the top, splash down amid a foaming spring and then brace yourself for a treacherous descent.

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
Wilderness Explorer Russell and Dug, the friendly dog from Disney Pixar's Up, want to help you earn Wilderness Explorer badges while navigating forested paths, rock climbing, swinging on rope bridges and zipping down suspended slides. Russell has left hints throughout the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail to help you receive your Wilderness Explorer badge. Collect the clues to get invited to the Senior Wilderness Explorer Ceremony.
