Cedar Fair has confirmed that California’s Great America, Carowinds, Kings Dominion and Valleyfair will remain closed for the rest of 2020.

In a statement:

"The safety of our guests and associates is always our top priority. Although we have done our due diligence in developing comprehensive safety plans in accordance with industry and public health standards, the continued uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 as well as the diminishing number of calendar days left in the 2020 operating season, has brought us to the difficult decision to keep the parks closed for the rest of the year."

Cedar Point, Dorney Park, Kings Island, Michigan's Adventure and Worlds of Fun are still currently open, but on limited dates. Of these, only Cedar Point and Kings Island will remain open beyond Labor Day (September 7).

Canada’s Wonderland and Knott’s Berry Farm remain in a state of readiness as park teams continue their dialogue with authorities about the possibility of opening.
