SeaWorld has revealed plans for three new SeaWorld Rescue rides at their theme parks, including a jet ski themed family rolller coaster planned at SeaWorld San Antonio in 2017.

The launched roller coaster looks very similar to the Jet Rescue ride at Sea World on the Gold Coast in Australia. The ride is based on a sea lion rescue mission, with riders aboard their very own jet ski zooming around the track at speeds of up to 70km/hr and pulling 2.5Gs, flying past rock pools and racing through a dark and dangerous blowhole cave where the trapped sea lion awaits.

The new ride concepts for SeaWorld Orlando and SeaWorld San Diego are both dark rides which interact with animal habitats, in a similar way to Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin at SeaWorld Orlando. One is a SeaWorld Rescue jeep themed ride and the other is an Ocean Explorers submarine themed ride.

The attractions will include footage from the popular TV program Sea Rescue shown on the ABC network.
