Universal's Volcano Bay water park at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida will close for the season on 2 November 2020 and reopen on or before 1 March 2021.

This will be the first seasonal closure for Universal's Volcano Bay, which opened in 2017 and has operated in a year-round capacity since then.

The water park closed temporarily back in March, along with Universal's other theme parks, in response to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, but reopened in June.

Universal Orlando Resort confirmed:

"Universal’s Volcano Bay will begin a seasonal closure on November 2, with a current planned reopening timeframe of on or before March 1. We will use the seasonal closure to conduct annual maintenance on several attractions and areas of the park at the same time."
