Universal Orlando Resort is the home of the biggest and best Mardi Gras Celebration outside of New Orleans and you can be part of the action from February 12 until April 23
Universal Orlando has been creating its special Mardi Gras celebration for more than 15 years - bringing the perfect combination of the Big Easy and spectacular theme park entertainment to its guests all for the price of a regular ticket.
"If you can't be in New Orleans or if you can't get enough of Mardi Gras, then Universal Orlando is the place to be," said Jim Timon, senior vice president of entertainment for Universal Orlando Resort. "We bring all of what makes Mardi Gras great together with national-level musical artists to create a family-friendly celebration that fills the entire theme park."

Tom Felton, who portrays Draco Malfoy in the blockbuster Harry Potter film series, visited with the Beauxbatons at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter during his recent visit to Universal Orlando Resort on December 28. After enjoying Butterbeer with his friends and visiting Hogwarts castle, Felton spent the rest of his Universal Orlando vacation enjoying the rides and attractions at both theme parks.
Other celebs who have visited the park recently include Jedward (read more) & Jonathan Ross.
John and Edward, more commonly known as "Jedward", took some time out whilst at Universal Orlando Resort to rock out on Universal Studios' newest ride Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.
The singing duo also had a wonderful time at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter where they had their wands chosen in Ollivanders, experienced the Forbidden Journey - the incredible ride inside Hogwarts castle - and enjoyed playing tricks on each other with goodies from Zonko's Joke Shop.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is a steel roller coaster at Universal Studios Florida. This custom-designed attraction features an on-board sound system to provide a soundtrack for the 3,800-foot (1,200 m) roller coaster track, as well as video cameras to record the experience.
