Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles has officially opened Looney Tunes Land, in a total transformation of the park's dedicated family area.
Developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, the refreshed destination moves away from traditional single-theme structures to encourage family exploration across four separate zones, each inspired by classic cartoon shorts and characters.
The grand opening is timed alongside the 55th anniversary of Six Flags Magic Mountain. According to park officials, the expansion represents the second phase of a multi-year redevelopment plan for the California resort, following last year's extensive refurbishment of the adjacent Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles water park. Management has also confirmed that a major new roller coaster project is scheduled to debut next year.

The newly released details explain exactly how we, the human guests, will finally step through the closet doors and into the monster world.
The entire land is themed around "H.U.M.A.N. Day", which stands for "Humans Understand Monsters Are Nice." This citywide celebration serves as the backdrop for your visit, picking up right after the events of the original Monsters, Inc. (2001) film.

Kentucky Kingdom has officially opened its newest roller coaster, Flying Fox, expanding the park’s coaster lineup to six. The addition solidifies the park's position as hosting the highest number of roller coasters in the state of Kentucky.
Manufactured by Vekoma, Flying Fox features 1,380 feet of track, reaching a maximum height of 65 feet and top speeds of 37 mph. The £11.2 million ($14 million) ride is engineered to deliver family-friendly thrills, welcoming younger riders with an accessible minimum height requirement of 38 inches.

Universal has revealed that Warner Bros. Pictures’ smash-hit horror film Sinners will be coming to Halloween Horror Nights this autumn, bringing an all-new haunted house to both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
The announcement follows the movie's historic success, having grossed over $370 million globally, and securing four Oscar wins from a record-breaking 16 Academy Award nominations.
The new haunted house will debut at Universal Orlando Resort on Friday 28 August, and at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday 3 September.
