Fun Spot America has officially announced that its Atlanta theme park location will permanently close its gates later this summer, concluding nearly a decade of operations in the region.
The final day of operation for the Fayetteville park is scheduled for Sunday, 2 August 2026. Until that date, normal daily park operations will continue from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm, giving families and enthusiasts one final month to experience the park's collection of rides and attractions.
According to an official statement released by the company, the closure marks the end of a significant chapter for the family-owned amusement chain. Fun Spot America expanded into the Georgia market with high ambitions, but leadership noted that the decision to shutter the park was exceptionally challenging.
